Fargesia rufa - Sunset Glow Clumping BambooOrange red sheaths at each node add color to the green culms (stems) of this well contained plant. A perfect specimen for smaller gardens and courtyards. Leaves do not curl in the sun as with some bamboos. Thrives in cooler summer regions, even tolerating mild, periodic dry spells when established. Evergreen. Upright stems reach 8 ft. tall; clump only expands 2 to 4 in. per year.
